Embark on a rewarding assignment as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a supportive school environment near Peyton, CO. This full-time school-based contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on K12 students communication skills while enjoying paid administrative time and the support of an experienced SLP team. The assignment runs through May 27, 2027, and is open to both local and travel candidates.
What Youll Do :- Deliver direct speech and language therapy sessions to students under SLP supervision
- Carry out treatment plans and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain meticulous student records and document progress
- Take an active role in multidisciplinary meetings and administrative planning, with indirect hours paid
- Foster collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff to best meet student needs
- Consistent 37.5-hour workweek with paid administrative and meeting hours
- Serve students at 12 convenient school locations no excessive travel between sites
- Receive on-site supervision and team support from certified Speech-Language Pathologists
- Streamlined interview process conducted virtually via Zoom
- An active or pending Colorado SLPA license/credential
- Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or an SLPA program certificate
- Eligibility to complete required background checks and fingerprinting prior to the start date
- School-based experience is a plus, but candidates of any experience level are welcome
