Laundry Attendant Morrison

Purpose

To prepare linens and textiles to aid sick and injured animals.

A laundry attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining linens, clothing, and other textiles. Duties include sorting, washing, drying, folding laundry, and ensuring cleanliness of the laundry area.

• Safely sort and prepare linens for cleaning, including pre-treatment if needed.
• Put linens through the wash using appropriate system settings.
• Clean sort and wash areas.
• Transfer clean linens to the dryers.
• Clean dryer and washer areas.
• Fold linens.
• Package client’s linens in bags to return to client facilities, ensuring client receives back items sent for cleaning.
• Weigh and report.
• Maintain a clean laundering facility.

• Ability to sort, clean, and repackage client’s linens.
• Ability to weigh and report various textiles.
• Ability to regularly lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to autonomously work safely around chemicals and industrial machinery.

The facility is located near Airport and E 2nd Ave. Aurora, CO 80011.

During training, shifts will start at 10 a.m. After training is complete, the job has flexibility and can be performed any time. Employees should plan to work 3 to 4 days a week.

Starting at $18.00 per hour.
