Location:
Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa – 180 acres in the red rock canyons of western Colorado, featuring 72 rooms of luxury resort accommodations, dining, UTV and Jeep tours, horseback riding, and full‑service spa.
The Resort Spa Manager provides direction and leadership to Spa Staff, oversees spa retail orders and inventory, monitors spa facilities, and maintains positive guest relations.
Responsibilities- Direction and leadership to Spa Staff; support team in treatment rooms.
- Manage spa retail orders, inventory and store maintenance.
- Monitor spa facilities for cleanliness and compliance with State guidelines.
- Observe activity and offer assistance and instruction to guests/visitors.
- Ensure spa staff is knowledgeable on all pertinent spa and hotel information.
- Stay familiar with resort spa packages, promotions, prices and rates.
- Maintain storeroom parcels and monitor requisition.
- Perform opening and/or closing procedures; schedule guest appointments.
- Greet guests and verify medical releases for applicable medical conditions.
- Sell spa merchandise.
- Maintain clean, tidy locker rooms, jacuzzis, and saunas.
- Assist spa service team in treatment rooms.
- Handle spa laundry and linens.
- Perform additional duties as reasonably required.
- 1–3 years of experience working in a spa.
- Strong and effective communication skills.
- Professional presentation.
- Experience in hospitality industry in a similar position.
- Previous guest relations training.
- Experience with computer systems and scheduling.
- Salaried position: $60,000–$70,000 per year.
