We are hiring a Human Resources Generalist in Pueblo West, CO to support the HR department in onboarding and administration to increase employee productivity, morale and retention.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct orientation for new field employees in the region.
  • Assist in providing necessary reports for HR or Payroll purposes.
  • Review new hire and termination checklists for accuracy; edit as necessary. Forward to appropriate mailing lists.
  • Update union rates spreadsheet and provide data to Payroll department.
  • Administer benefits, including FMLA, as well as short & long term disability.
  • Serve as point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Assist with investigations and employee relations.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3+ years of HR experience.
  • Able to work in-office 5 days a week (schedule is Mon – Fri, 8am
    -5pm).
  • Familiarity with general office procedures and equipment such as scanner, copier, etc.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Professional demeanor and high-level communication and interpersonal skills with all company employees and outside customers.
  • Intermediate level in MS Office software, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • High detail orientation and accuracy.
  • Customer focused.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or significant coursework in business management, human resources, organizational leadership or a related field.
  • 4+ years generalist experience with desire for development and advancement.
  • Knowledge of human resources programs and employment law.

Pay range: $75k – $80k/yr. Health benefits, 401k.
