Human Resources GeneralistHeart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting employees and leaders throughout the organization while helping foster a positive, professional, and service-focused workplace culture.
The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive human resources support across the employee lifecycle, including, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance, performance management, and HR administration.

Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE- Associates degree in human resources, business, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of experience in human resources or a closely related role
- Or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, aPHR, PHR or SPHR preferred
Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, employment processes, benefits, leave, and HR systems.
Coordinate employee onboarding, employment changes, and related documentation, system updates, orientation activities, and departmental communications.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS and other HR systems, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Support benefits, leave, and accommodation processes, including enrollment and life event changes, documentation, tracking, employee communication, and referral of complex matters.
Assist managers with employee relations, policy interpretation, performance documentation, and corrective action while escalating sensitive or complex concerns to HR leadership.
Support annual HR programs and workforce reporting, including performance reviews, required training, policy acknowledgments, audits, and employee data analysis.
Collaborate with Payroll, Employee Health, department leaders, and other stakeholders to resolve employee issues, improve HR workflows, and enhance accuracy, efficiency, and the employee experience.
Summary
The HR Generalist provides detail-oriented and professional support while handling confidential employee information with discretion and integrity. The role requires strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and the flexibility to manage changing priorities. Strong problem-solving, resourcefulness , and communication skills are essential.
