As a Virtualization Engineer supporting the Government, you will be responsible for physical/virtual platforms, server build deployments, server virtualization, hyperconverged platforms, and related infrastructure.

• Design and build virtual environment service models including Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements for virtualization and distribution of applications: automate manual processes, optimize delivery, and redesign infrastructure for greater scalability
• Design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere virtualization infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSAN
• Analyze user requirements, concepts of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications; incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations
• Develop system architecture and system design documentation; interact with the Government regarding technical considerations and issues
• Maintain technical integrity of work and deliverables in the Systems Engineering area of responsibility

• 10+ years of experience in a relevant field with a High School Diploma
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM; proficiency in configuring and optimizing virtual machines, storage, and networking
• Knowledge of virtual switch configuration
• VLANs; VMware Certified Professional certification
