We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer – Integration and Test
, supporting one of our premier programs in the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business units. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products and your knowledge with regards developing plans and procedures, debugging and evaluating system functions and interfaces, developing test environments, and working hand‑in‑hand with our integration teams and customers will be put to good use.
The work is on‑site in Aurora, CO.
- Work with a cross‑disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.
- Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team.
- Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure.
- Develop automated test scripts and their execution.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues.
- Work in an Agile program environment.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Experience with systems integration and test for a software product, in an Agile, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools.
- Hands‑on integration and test engineering experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging a software‑based system or product.
- Experience with Linux Red Hat, Python, or Perl.
- Experience working within a CI/CD environment.
- Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment.
- Development experience in project domain (e.g., mission management ground systems, space‑based ISR platforms).
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Experience in Test Automation (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher).
- Experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux operating system, Cloud environments.
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD – 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
