  • Test returned APEX and Ethos readers to confirm or rule out reported failures.
  • Diagnose the cause of failure using a multimeter and software test tools.
  • Write clear findings for each unit so Operations can make repair, replace, or credit decisions.
  • Support the QA team with product testing and issue verification.
  • Help the Support team reproduce and troubleshoot issues reported from the field.
  • Work with the Electrical Engineering team on bench testing, and learn soldering and board-level work over time.
  • Keep the RMA work area and test equipment organized and in working order.
  • Assist Production with issues or questions as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Some hands-on experience testing or troubleshooting electronic hardware.
  • Basic familiarity with a multimeter or similar test equipment.

  • Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
  • Basic ability in mathematics, reading, and writing.

  • Experience in a hardware test, repair, or RMA role preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements
