Senior Director, Facilities, Real Estate & Security Operations Responsibilities

  • Facility Management – As a member of the Americas management team, oversee the Western U.S. region by partnering with the Integrated Facility Manager (IFM) provider to deliver services in owned and leased offices; understand Master Services Agreements and manage contractual performance of suppliers.
  • Financial Management – Provide regional input into the Real Estate & Facilities annual expense budget, forecasts, and capital plans, ensuring cost control and value optimization; review and approve work orders, and analyze key performance metrics and vendor performance.
  • Leadership – Manage and supervise facility‑management staff, conducting weekly 1‑on‑1s, goal setting, training, performance management, and annual reviews; collaborate with peers on best practices and service delivery.
  • Operations – Conduct supplier meetings and daily walk‑throughs to maintain cleanliness, safety, and equipment/system functionality (e.g., HVAC); ensure all offices have current business licenses and utilities paid; partner with vendors on property‑management services; leverage AI and other technologies to optimize operations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Interface with internal business lines to address facility needs; collaborate with Real Estate Strategy, Transactions, Global Engineering, Project Delivery, Operations, Enterprise Engineering, EHS, Legal, HR, and Tax; work closely with occupancy planning on adjacencies, move planning, expansions, relocations, and contractions.

As a member of the management team, you will oversee facility management and building‑related services for several locations within the Western U.S. and work closely with our IFM provider on service delivery. You will be responsible for budgets, facilities modifications, and personnel management.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities management with significant leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven track record managing Integrated Facilities Management solutions.
  • Experience managing operations in a complex, matrix, and culturally diverse environment.
  • Strong financial acumen managing operating and capital budgets.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and the ability to synthesize information to make accurate & informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills in working with internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with email, Microsoft Office applications, work‑order & purchase‑order systems is essential.
  • Willingness to function as after‑hours contact for facility emergencies and be accessible via phone.
  • Travel is necessary; cell phone required after hours.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Professional certifications from BOMA, CNG or IFMA are desirable.

Compensation & Benefits

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 - $291,800 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
