Recovery Village at Palmer Lake (PLR) is a 110‑bed accredited addiction treatment facility located 15 minutes from Colorado Springs and 60 miles from Denver, providing medical support, mental health counseling, and recreational therapies in a scenic setting.

• Complete appropriate documentation within required time frames after patient admission; maintain accurate medical records.
• Administer medications and monitor detoxification processes.
• Transcribe physician orders and implement all medical protocols.
• Collaborate with and assist medical personnel, both internal and external.
• Provide documentation that reflects services for each patient in accordance with licensure standards.
• Assess patients’ medical and psychiatric needs, determine urgency, and expedite necessary treatment.
• Effectively communicate concerns about patient health to appropriate personnel and follow up as needed.
• Educate patients about medications, health issues, and medical conditions.
• Take verbal orders from medical providers, document them in the patient record, and execute them accurately and professionally.
• Provide routine nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

12‑hour shifts; all shifts and hours are accepted.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required)
• Licensed to practice in the State of Colorado (required)

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred)
• Behavioral health experience (preferred)
