Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This position involves providing patient observation and inpatient care within the Med Surg Unit at a hospital setting. The registered nurse will perform assessments, administer treatments, and support patient education to ensure comprehensive care for a diverse patient population.

• Position: RN in Medical Surgical Floor specialty located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
• Schedule:
  
  Day shift from 6:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., 3 days per week, with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications, Education, and
  
  Experience:
  
  Candidates must have a graduate of an accredited RN program, current RN license in Colorado or a Compact state, BLS certification, ACLS certification, PALS certification, minimum 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience, previous traveler experience, Cerner electronic health record experience, and basic computer skills.
• Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, IV and blood therapies, cardiac monitoring, patient and family education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Essential skills include knowledge of cardiac rhythm interpretation, infection prevention, confidentiality, and adherence to safety protocols.
• The role requires physical ability to assist with patient movement and potential exposure to various hazards in a hospital environment.
