Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons, team members, and company assets.

• Assisting in transporting money, chips, tokens, and markers.
• Controlling access to restricted areas.
• Reacting to patron and employee incidents and accidents.
• Monitoring patron and employee passage in and out of casino.
• Checking for and reporting safety hazards.
• Ensuring the safety and security of all guests and employees.
• Maintaining a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
• Knowledge of all special events and promotional activities available to guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to write reports.
• Ability to use a telephone and two‑way radio.
• Ability to read and understand memos.
• Knowledge of local and state laws and gaming regulations.
• Knowledge of internal controls and innkeeper laws.
• Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
• Knowledge of required OSHA regulations.

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year experience in security.
• Must hold a valid gaming license.

• Standing/Walking 80%
• Climbing 5%
• Bending/Lifting 15% (up to 250 lbs. with help)
• Casino environment exposed to hot and cold temperatures.
• Excessive noise levels and bright lights.
• High rise hotel.
• Use of stairs, elevators, and escalators.
