Overnight Armed Security Officer

Citadel Security USA is hiring an Overnight Armed Security Officer for a critical infrastructure site in the Dillon area. This position is ideal for an experienced armed security officer who performs well in low-traffic, high-responsibility environments and can maintain strong situational awareness throughout a 12-hour overnight shift. Officers in this role support public safety, ensure proper vehicle access control, and provide consistent reporting during night operations.

• Monitor and screen vehicles approaching the dam during overnight hours
• Turn away vehicles exceeding weight restrictions following site procedures
• Accurately document and report all redirected vehicles
• Observe changing weather conditions and notify appropriate contacts when road or pass closures may be needed
• Maintain vigilance in a low-light, low-activity environment
• Follow post orders, site protocols, and safety procedures

• Valid Colorado Security Guard License (Guard Card) or the ability to obtain one
• Minimum of 2 years of armed security experience
• Ability to carry a firearm in compliance with federal, state, and site regulations
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Ability to maintain alertness and professionalism through extended overnight shifts

• Two years of experience in critical infrastructure or other high-security settings
