Pay Rate: $20.49 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facility grounds, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and documenting arrivals and departures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including situations involving unauthorized access, vehicle traffic, package handling areas, and/or medical or weather‑related events.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities; communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
