Experienced Carpenter​/Rough Framing- Construction Northcraft Neighborhoods

North Craft Neighborhoods is a semi-custom home builder in Leadville, CO in the Central Colorado Mountains. We pride ourselves on quality, safety, reliability and work ethic and are looking for like-minded 1099 framing contractors immediately. We are growing and have steady, year-round, framing and siding work. In addition, we experimenting with ICF foundations and may continue to utilize those in the future.

All our homes are in Leadville in the same subdivision, so no surprises on the commute. And no bidding on work or having to pack up and move from house to house.

Pay ranges from $35 to $50 per hour, depending on experience, skill and fit

Key Responsibilities:

• Work safely and independently or as part of a crew without significant oversight from NN
• Read and interpret blueprints and specs and other CD's
• Layout, cut and assemble framing components/materials into floors, walls and roofs that make the structure of the home
• Build stairs, set porch trusses, stick frame box window roofs and crickets
• Set windows and doors and apply housewrap and rigid insulation to exterior
• Layout trim/siding and apply exterior walls
• Set up and tear down pump jacks
• Occasional misc. tasks such as: mitigate site weather conditions including snow removal, blanketing, temporary heating, material protection, unloading material, site clean up and other duties as required by NN

Requirements:

• At least two years experience in new construction framing and siding, three to five years or more preferred
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work practices
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Experience with ICF foundations a plus
• Conversational Spanish a plus
• Hand tools, power tools and insurance
• LLC and sign NN Master Construction Agreement
