Public Works Maintenance Professional

Position:
Public Works Maintenance Professional

Pay Range: $20.00 – $21.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Status:
Full-time, Non-exempt

Location:

Gilcrest, Colorado

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of streets, parks, water distribution systems, and wastewater facilities.
• Operate and maintain public works equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and general public works operations as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other town departments to ensure reliable public services.
• Respond to after‑hours emergencies when required (on a rotating basis).

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license (CDL preferred or ability to obtain).
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of water and wastewater systems preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
