Position Summary:
We’re on the hunt for a skilled Compressor/ Rotating Mechanic to join our dedicated team in the heart of the Rockies! If you’re hands-on, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in keeping equipment running smoothly, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
This position is responsible for maintaining essential rotating equipment including water pumps, chemical pumps, electric motors, air compressors, generators, and gas compressors — the backbone of our operations.
Job Duties:
The task will include weekly performance checks, monitoring oil levels, temperatures, vibration readings, and inspecting for leaks on mechanical seals. This position will be required to keep the equipment / the sites clean, organized, and running at peak performance. It is a requirement to manage maintenance scheduling and tracking. As well as, maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and supplies, and lead contractors on-site when needed.
All work must be performed with a top level of accuracy and attention to detail around safety. This position must comply with all company, state, and federal regulations to stay within legal compliance.
Competencies:
Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain and troubleshoot rotating equipment including water pumps, chemical pumps, electric motors, air compressors, generators, and gas compressors.
Operational Checks:
Perform weekly inspections of pump operations, including monitoring oil levels, temperature, vibration readings, and checking for mechanical seal leaks.
Site Upkeep:
Ensure equipment and work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
Maintenance Scheduling:
Keep maintenance schedules and tracking systems up to date to support efficient operations.
Inventory Management:
Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and supplies required for scheduled maintenance tasks.
Contractor Oversight:
Lead and coordinate contractors during maintenance and repair activities as needed.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere strictly to all company, state, and federal safety regulations and procedures.
Hourly pay rate of: $38-42 per hour.
