Phillips is seeking experienced Production Excavator Operators to support its mining team on a project site near Denver, Colorado, performing efficient excavator work in all types of soils and conditions, pre and post inspections, and routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment. This safety sensitive position calls for knowledge of cut/fill operations, working safely on slopes and in all weather, and working with other project employees to meet safety, environment and production targets.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, five years’ construction industry experience operating 349-sized or larger excavators, experience with Trimble GPS and the ability to read stake grades and plans, with MSHA Part 48 training preferred. Pay is $25 to $35 per hour plus a $250 daily per diem on a 6-day week of 12-hour shifts.
