Overview
Sr. Principal Software Engineer (Level
4) – Data Team, Payload and Ground Systems, Space Systems Sector, Northrop Grumman.
Location:
Aurora, CO. Development of data management services and agile delivery of baseline program.
Augment the Data Team to support data management services. Agile team supporting two programs, executing 2‑week sprints for 3‑month increment deliveries. Design and unit test software, strong Java developer, knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, microservices architecture, and object‑oriented design.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree STEM with 8+ years experience; master’s STEM 6+ years;
PhD with 4+ years. Additional 4 years considered in lieu of degree. - Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required.
- Strong Java developer experience.
- Experience with software design and unit testing.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices architecture and object‑oriented designs.
- Experience with Keycloak, NodeJS framework, front‑end GUI design and implementation, and Grafana.
Primary Level Salary Range: $137,400 – $206,000 annually. Eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, long‑term incentives.
