We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Demand Solutions team where you will work on a globally distributed ad serving system that handles hundreds of millions of requests a day. You have the opportunity to take on project initiatives to improve the delivery of our systems, tackle hard technical challenges, and contribute to a small team of passionate individuals.

Asa Software Engineer II, You Will:
- Participate in the full-stack design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of a core product offering as it relates to a critical advertising buying platform
- Work with the team to deliver projects within deadlines and contribute your technical expertise
- Be a creative problem-solver able to design and implement reliable and maintainable solutions to challenging problems
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and project plans
- Write production-ready code and unit tests that meet both system and business requirements
- Respond to feature requests, bug reports, performance issues, and ad-hoc questions
- Work collaboratively with multiple teams to deliver quality software
- Support operation of services in production
- Perform design and code reviews
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in software development
- Development experience in Java for back-end development
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and an ability to recognize the business and technical trade-offs between different solutions
- Experience with agile development and CI tools like git and Jira
- Postgres or other Relational DB experience with SQL and Table design
- Understanding of asynchronous programming
- Experience with high-volume, distributed systems
- General Ad Technology experience, ideally with header bidding technologies in a production environment
