PurposeThis role advances Messenger International’s vision by coordinating the accurate, timely, and safe fulfillment of physical products across ecommerce and in-person speaking events, while maintaining inventory integrity and supporting the organization’s evolving physical distribution models.
Primary Outcomes- Accurate, timely fulfillment of ecommerce orders
- Accurate, timely processing of road meeting shipments
- Reliable inventory controls and warehouse operations
- Optimize and execute daily fulfillment of ecommerce orders, including picking, packing, shipping, and tracking
- Prepare, ship, receive, and process inventory for in-person speaking engagements
- Optimize and execute the return, inspection, and restocking of inventory following speaking engagements
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, annual physical inventories, and inventory adjustments for damaged or obsolete items
- Maintain stock levels of shipping supplies and ensure proper storage, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse
- Prepare domestic and international shipments, including small-package and freight shipments, in coordination with approved carriers and vendors
- Use discretion and judgement when resolving shipping exceptions such as lost, delayed, returned, or undelivered shipments
- Communicate shipment requirements, timelines, and delivery details with internal stakeholders, including authors, event staff, and operations leadership
- Support warehouse safety practices and proper use of warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)
- Monitor inventory levels, usage trends, and sales velocity across channels to identify replenishment needs
- Collaborate on special projects and operational improvements as directed
- Other related work, as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2–4 years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferred
- Experience working with complex and/or international order fulfillment preferred
- Experience supporting event-based fulfillment or bulk shipments is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on, physical environment
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to respond to time‑sensitive fulfillment needs
- Works well independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to warehouse safety best practices
- Signed acknowledgement of Messenger’s “Statement of Faith” and “Staff Covenant/Lifestyle Agreement” forms
- Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in our employee handbook
- Has the ability to function independently
- Possess the ability to speak
- Has the physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds (with or without assistance)
- This position also may require long periods of sitting, standing up, and walking
Colorado Springs, CO. Must be able to present evidence of identity and legal right to work in the United States.
Job Type/ScheduleFull‑time, 40‑hour work week with the potential for occasional overtime. This is a non‑exempt position and is subject to overtime pay in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
PayThis is an experienced position operating with independent judgement and operational discretion. The pay range of $23.00 – $28.00 / hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
