Pediatric Nocturnist NP San Bernardino, CA

Seeking experienced PNP or FNP for inpatient/nocturnal pediatric hospitalist role in San Bernardino County, CA. In this role, you will have a private room to sleep with work space, overseeing newborn nursery and inpatient peds census. Current CA license required.

• 23 weeks per year is full-time; part-time options available
• $180,000 per year
• 7p-7a schedule, every other week
• Level 3b NICU
• 1 PNP per shift
• On-call pediatrician available at all times and rounds in the AM
• Emergency department available for emergent situations
• Inpatient admissions usually 5 per night; higher acuity cases transferred
• Handling phone calls from nurses and admissions; no calls from parents
• Newborn nursery with an average census of 13, 2-3 deliveries per night
• NICU has its own staff
• Epic EMR system used
• Neonatal team consults/follows high-risk deliveries; you will write orders for normal deliveries

PALS & NAPS certification required.
