Position Overview
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Clinical Laboratory Scientist III
. Positions in this series perform laboratory procedures and analyses in either a public health or medical center laboratory. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist III serves as a lead supervisor and performs the most difficult tests, which may be new or involve many alternatives or procedural steps not covered by written instructions.
- Perform laboratory procedures and analyses in a public health or medical center setting.
- Serve as lead supervisor or mentor to other technologists.
- Perform complex or newly developed tests requiring multiple steps and alternatives.
- Maintain compliance with laboratory regulations and quality assurance programs.
- Participate in patient care processes and results reporting.
- Three (3) years of clinical laboratory experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, including one (1) year in an acute care hospital.
- Possession and maintenance of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist license issued by the State of California Department of Public Health with the "MTA" prefix.
- Availability to work day, swing, night, rotating, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Background investigation, physical, and verification of employment history and education approved.

Conditions of EmploymentARMC is a twenty‑four‑hour facility; some shifts include weekends and holidays. Applicants must indicate availability for all shift types. Work environment includes routine exposure to hazardous chemicals and infectious materials.
