Neonatal/ NICU Nurse
Overview
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is looking for experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses who will be assigned to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position will care for newborn infants with medical ailments, and will plan, evaluate, and implement patient care according to accepted standards of practice.

Certifications:
RN license, and Basic Life Support, and depending on the area of assignment, additional certification(s) may be required and must be maintained throughout employment.
Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Shift differentials are provided.

Applicants Must PossessApplicants must possess all the following: License:
Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience as a licensed registered nurse.
Certification / Unit Specific CoursesCertification: Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and must possess and maintain the following unit specific certifications/courses required to work in the NICU:
- Neonatal Intensive Care Course (16-30 hour course)
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation (NPR)
Candidates possessing a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are desired.
