The Paramedic has the responsibility and accountability for assuring the delivery of quality pre-hospital care to patients of all ages using proper techniques and following the standards of care as established by Indiana Department of Homeland Security – EMS Division and the Parkview Health EMS Medical Director(s). EducationHigh school diploma or GED required. Additional post‑high school education desirable.
Licensure & Certification- Valid state Paramedic certification/license
- CPR required
- Valid driver's license
- ACLS required
- One year experience preferred
- Must meet insurability requirements under Parkview Health vehicle and liability insurance policies (no driver exclusion, no class modifications, no high‑risk classification)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Meets physical requirements: lift 100 pounds, assist with 300 pounds
