We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a growing manufacturer. Multiple levels are available based on experience and skill level.
Location:Columbia City, IN
Shift:3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Pay:
CNC Machinist I — $25–$28/hour
CNC Machinist II — $29–$34/hour
CNC Machinist III — $35–$39/hour
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and other machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, process prints, and setup sheets
- Perform machine offsets and minor program adjustments
- Select, maintain, and modify tooling as needed
- Inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, and other measuring tools
- Troubleshoot tooling and programming issues
- Maintain production records and follow safety and Lean manufacturing practices
- Assist with training other team members
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of machining experience preferred
- CNC mill and/or lathe experience
- Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience with machine setups, offsets, and tooling
- Ability to use precision measuring tools
- Strong knowledge of machine shop math and machining processes
