Job Summary

Oversees the overall restaurant operations at one of Glacier National Park’s historic lodges, ensuring guests experience Xanterra’s “Legendary Hospitality” in every aspect of their visit. This position provides leadership and coordination between the front and back of house, working closely with the Location Chef and management team to maintain high standards of food quality, service, and efficiency. The F&B Manager focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting staff development, and upholding the character and tradition of the lodge through thoughtful, consistent hospitality.

  • Pay: $2,108.00 bi-weekly
  • Schedule:

    Typical schedule is 45-50 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities Guest Experience & Service
  • Deliver and uphold Xanterra’s “Legendary Hospitality” by ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, professional and memorable dining experience
  • Maintain a visible presence on the dining room floor, engaging with guests and supporting staff during service
  • Monitor overall service quality, pacing and guest satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the Location Chef to ensure seamless coordination between front and back of house operations
Operational Oversight
  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring consistent quality, presentation and service standards
  • Support menu planning, pricing and special event coordination in partnership with culinary leadership
  • Monitor labor costs, sales performance and expense control to achieve financial goals
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation and responsible alcohol service regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness across all restaurant areas including dining room, bar and service stations
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead by example, setting high standards for professionalism, teamwork and guest engagement
  • Recruit, train and coach staff to uphold service excellence and operational efficiency
  • Foster a positive, respectful and inclusive work environment focused on collaboration and growth
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and performance check-ins to reinforce company values and service goals
  • Provide clear direction during shifts and assist management team with scheduling and staffing needs
Administration & Communication
  • Support reporting and recordkeeping requirements, including daily logs, inventories and purchasing requests
  • Collaborate with the Location Chef and F&B Director to develop and execute operational improvements
