Location:
Salt Lake City, Utah. Join our team to create outstanding customer experiences by providing friendly, efficient service and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag while ensuring items are not damaged.
- Follow best practices for bagging items in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
- Assist customers with loading bags into their cars.
- Remove merchandise from the bottom of bascarts for checkout.
- Perform basic shelf conditioning.
- Inform customers of grocery specials.
- Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts, returning them to designated areas.
- Clean spills, pick up trash, and maintain cleanliness inside the store and parking lot.
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
- Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
- Reinforce safety programs, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and report needed repairs.
- Create a welcoming environment by answering product questions, providing assistance to minors, people with special needs, and older adults.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws.
- Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance as needed.
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Customer service skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Retail experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work part‑time.
