Location:

Salt Lake City, Utah. Join our team to create outstanding customer experiences by providing friendly, efficient service and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag while ensuring items are not damaged.
  • Follow best practices for bagging items in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
  • Assist customers with loading bags into their cars.
  • Remove merchandise from the bottom of bascarts for checkout.
  • Perform basic shelf conditioning.
  • Inform customers of grocery specials.
  • Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts, returning them to designated areas.
  • Clean spills, pick up trash, and maintain cleanliness inside the store and parking lot.
  • Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
  • Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
  • Reinforce safety programs, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and company guidelines.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and report needed repairs.
  • Create a welcoming environment by answering product questions, providing assistance to minors, people with special needs, and older adults.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws.
  • Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Follow directions and seek assistance as needed.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
  • Customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Retail experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work part‑time.
