Financial Services Representative – Scott Credit Union
Location: Columbia, IL
Base Pay Range: $17.34/hr - $26.01/hr
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Saturday, Saturday rotation as scheduled
Work Location Status: Fully on-site at the Columbia, IL Branch
About the RoleFinancial Service Representatives are a primary point of contact for SCU members, ensuring an exceptional member experience by engaging members in‑person, over the phone, and through outbound calls. They educate members on SCU products and services and resolve inquiries or issues.

- Identify, educate, present, and cross‑sell SCU products and services to new and existing members in line with SCU's member engagement model.
- Meet individual sales and operational goals and assist the branch team in achieving branch goals.
- Maintain cross‑functional capabilities; process financial transitions for members including opening and closing of accounts, loan application processing, deposits, withdrawals, and teller duties.
- Daily open and close teller terminal, manage cash, balance terminal reports, and remit daily work to supervisor.
- Perform OFAC screens as outlined in Verafin Processing policy; report positive matches to BSA Group; comply with BSA requirements of completing CTR and SAR.
- Foster and maintain relationships with members, providing prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous service; investigate member concerns and recommend resolutions; achieve member service satisfaction targets.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of customer service experience.
- Personal computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Enthusiastic about creating meaningful connections and delivering strategic solutions.
- Focused under pressure, prioritizing precision in work.
- Proactive, taking ownership of projects and aiming for high‑quality results.
