Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. In this role, you will support worksite operations through manual labor tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work  ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Install solar panels on rooftops and other structures in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
  • Conduct electrical work including wiring, connecting systems, and ensuring proper voltage levels using voltmeters.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during installation processes.
  • Ensure all installations comply with local codes and regulations regarding high voltage systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in the training of new team members on installation techniques and safety practices.

Qualifications

Install solar panels on rooftops in accordance with project plans and safety standards

  • Perform electrical wiring and connections for solar energy systems

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

  • Utilize high voltage and low voltage equipment during installations

  • Conduct fixture installations and ensure proper functionality

  • Use a voltmeter to test electrical systems

  • Operate a forklift for material handling as needed

Experience

  • Experience in solar panel installation is preferred but not required

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings

  • Familiarity with electrical systems and components

  • Ability to work effectively on rooftops for extended periods

  • Experience with fixture installation and wiring techniques

This is a remote position.
