About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in the Gov Con industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing financial advice to management. Your expertise in accounting principles and practices will be essential in ensuring the financial health of our organization.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Deltek/Cost Point
- CPA certification
- Experience with Gov Con
- Experience with financial analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions
- Prepare financial statements and analyze financial data
- Provide financial advice to management
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and practices
As a Senior Accountant, you will utilize your strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively will be crucial in providing financial advice to management and ensuring compliance.
