Junior Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Junior
Accountant to support Norwegian accounting firms with day-to-day financial operations. This role involves managing core accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining strong communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will be part of a professional accounting team that values precision, efficiency, and collaboration across borders.

• Managing the accounting functions for Norwegian accounting firms.
• Data entry of payables, receivables, and general journal vouchers.
• Period-end reconciliation.
• Continuous learning of Norwegian tax and accounting systems.
• Basic Norwegian language learning.
• Communicate with Norwegian accountants and clients.
• Any other tasks related to the accounting profession.

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Accounting Technology or related accounting course.
• Entry-level candidates with excellent scholastic records or professionals with at least one (1) year of relevant experience.
• Working competency in any accounting software.
• Fluent English language skills – verbal & written.
• High degree of computer literacy, including extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
• Ability to multitask, is independent, and able to organize daily, weekly, and monthly priorities.

• CPA license is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the following Norwegian accounting systems:
  Tripletex, Power Office Go, Visma, or 24
  
  Seven Office.

Up to PHP 23,000 per month during the probationary period.
