Senior Accountant

Our Client, a leader in construction and project-based services, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. If you are a strong job cost accountant and want to expand your experience, thrive in a fast-paced (in-office) environment and want your work to make a visible impact, this role is for you.

• Manage accounts payable & receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee subcontractor payments, lien waivers, and reporting compliance.
• Lead monthly billing cycles (including AIA formats) and support collections.
• Support GL entries, and month-end close.
• Maintain audit-ready financials and ensure timely reporting.
• Partner with project managers, vendors, and CFO to drive financial accuracy.
• Recommend process improvements as we grow the company

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3-10 years of progressive accounting experience (construction industry is essential).
• Strong job cost accounting exposure
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL, payroll, and revenue recognition.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (Sage Intacct).
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, teamwork attitude, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
