Position: Administrative Assistant (Columbia Day Program/Full-Time)

Administrative Assistant (Columbia Day Program)

Directly supports the efficient daily operations of the department. Under supervision and requiring independent judgment, this role is responsible for the efficient daily operations of the department.

Responsibilities
  • Performs daily office functions and coordinates tasks delegated by supervisor.
  • Executes assigned tasks in a timely manner; responsible for data collection, record keeping, reports, transcription, filing, proofreading, mail distribution, ordering supplies, and correspondence.
  • Assists with department expenses and monitors expenses within allocated funds.
  • Assists with documenting and submitting program billing.
  • Maintains excellent customer relations with clients, staff, vendors, and the public on non-clinical issues.
  • Provides support to supervisor, senior management and staff for assigned projects and tasks.

Pay: $18.50/hr.

What We Need From You
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two to three years of progressively responsible related work experience. (Ability to maintain an office, analytical, billing, record keeping, transcribing, report preparation.)
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), calculator and automated office equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with clients, staff and external contacts. Compassion and sensitivity toward client needs aligned with mission.
