Duties and Responsibilities:

_

+ Coordinate with technical staff, consultants, contractors and other agencies to expedite the completion of construction projects for highways, bridges, ramps and/or pedestrian infrastructure projects that meets current Americans with Disabilities (ADA) standards.

+ Coordinate the field inspections for one or more projects including assigning and reviewing the work, training, evaluating work performance and providing technical guidance.

+ Reviews and evaluates construction schedules and coordinate adjustments to problems arising during construction.

+ Schedules pre-construction and progress meetings.

+ Coordinate with stakeholders for solutions to problems arising during construction.

+ Utilizes computer and business software packages to prepare correspondence relating to projects, manage project workflow and maintain project records.

+ Performs related work as required.

+ Work effectively with others.

+ Understand and follow instructions.

Minimum Qualifications:

_

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

+ 1-3 years of experience in construction management/inspection of highway, bridge, ramp and/or pedestrian infrastructure projects that meets current Americans with Disabilities (ADA) standards.

+ Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling and materials.

+ Knowledge of inspection methods.

+ Ability to deal effectively with contractors, engineers, architects and representatives of utility and government agencies.

+ Supervisory ability.

+ Working knowledge of state and federal safety, environment guidelines and regulations.

+ Working skill in operating computer equipment, software programs and field inspection equipment; read and interpret roadway plans and  contract specifications; maintain detailed records, and communicate effectively with agency, contractor personnel and the public.

+ Dependable transportation is required.

+ Knowledge of field inspection equipment; ability to read and interpret roadway plans and contract specifications; and maintain detailed records.

+ Valid driver's license.

+ Proficient in Math and English.

+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $79,040 - $87,360
