Job DescriptionGlia Cell is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full‑time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems for a large government contract.
Key Responsibilities- Join an exciting mission centered around providing visualization and presentation services for the prototyping, development, and production of analytic tools.
- Reverse engineer 40 databases to create a universal model database so that data can be sorted, found, and analyzed efficiently.
- Work on a small team to provide impactful contributions to a supportive customer.
- Serve as a key contributor to the successful migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- 20+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university (5 years of additional SE experience on similar projects may substitute for a bachelor’s degree).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with database design and modeling.
- Experience utilizing SQL within relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, Postgres).
- Experience reverse‑engineering systems in both front‑end and back‑end capacities.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization, data normalization and cleansing, and data security.
- Experience with Oracle.
- Knowledge of existing B/M&A systems.

Salary RangeThe salary range for this full‑time position is $210,000 to $240,000.
