We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our team in the GOVCON industry. As the Controller, you will oversee all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will provide accurate financial information to management, investors, and stakeholders, make recommendations for improvement, and play a critical role in the company’s financial success. Ideal candidates are well‑versed in Gov Con and CostPoint.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in a financial management role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Deltek/CP experience

• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience in the Business Services industry
• Experience with financial software systems
• Advanced Excel skills
• MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Oversee all financial activities of the company, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Provide accurate financial information to management, investors, and stakeholders
• Make recommendations for improvement in financial processes and procedures
• Manage and develop a team of financial professionals
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing activities
• Record journal entries
• Support DCAA and GSA audits
• Submit GSA fees
• Manage fixed asset schedules and record depreciation

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, effective communication and leadership abilities, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with financial software systems and a background in Gov Con accounting enhance your effectiveness in this role.
