About Us: Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Corporation company, is a trusted partner in providing powerful edge computing hardware and defensive cybersecurity solutions to protect the Federal Government and private enterprises. Our goal is to support the federal government, our allies, mission partners, and private industries in accomplishing their cybersecurity and defense objectives efficiently and securely through cutting-edge hardware, engineering, and integration services.

Position Overview: Sealing Tech is seeking a Financial Manager specializing in Pricing and Estimating to join our growing team. The Financial Manager will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will play a key role in developing and maintaining pricing strategies for both Federal Government contracts and the commercial product market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government contracting requirements (FAR, DFARS, cost buildup, and indirect rate application) while also being able to strategize and execute pricing models for commercial sales.

This role requires a balance of technical pricing acumen, market insight, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our products are competitively and profitably positioned across both markets.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitor pricing to inform both commercial and Federal pricing strategies.
  • Develop and implement pricing models that account for production costs, market demand, indirect rates, and competitive positioning.
  • Support proposal pricing for Federal contracts, including cost build-ups, price-to-win analysis, and compliance with solicitation requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales, contracts, finance, and product development teams to gather input and provide pricing recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain pricing tools, templates, and databases to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across business units.
  • Prepare and present pricing reports, analysis, and forecasts to leadership, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support business process improvements related to pricing governance, cost modeling, and product profitability analysis.
  • Assist in estimating new product lines, enhancements, or modifications by evaluating material, labor, and overhead costs.
  • Manage pricing projects from initiation through execution, ensuring alignment with company strategy and compliance requirements.
  • Interface with several internal functional groups as well as outside vendors to gather data.
  • Stay current on industry trends, government policy updates, and commercial market dynamics to proactively adjust pricing strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in pricing, estimating, or financial analysis preferably within a government contracting environment and/or product-based company.
  • Strong understanding of Federal pricing regulations, including FAR/DFARS and cost accounting standards.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing cost structures, product lifecycle pricing, and margin optimization.
  • Experience with commercial product pricing, including cost-plus, value-based, and competitive pricing models.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting GSA schedules, IDIQs, or BOM-based proposals.
  • Ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and communicate strategic insights.
  • Proven success in developing pricing frameworks that bridge Federal and commercial business models.
