ShiftMonday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm with every other weekend.

- Fill prescription items, packaging medications for dispensing and delivery, meeting accuracy and productivity standards.
- Label products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels.
- Participate in periodic inventory of the pharmacy.
- Check drugs and supplies, stock shelves, remove out-of-date items from inventory.
- Prepare medications including emulsions, liquids, powders, ointments, may include non-sterile compounding.
- Communicate with internal and external customers pleasantly and professionally.
- Process returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Perform at least one of the following:
- Work in the Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) Room.
- Work with automated machine to prepack drugs.
- Manage inventory functions such as monitoring pharmaceutical levels and identifying expired medications, managing to pharmacy standard for Days on Hand.
- Input patient data and medication orders into a computer system to produce labels (data entry).
- Mix/packages IV medications, sanitize IV room, equipment and hood.
- Service facility-based medication dispensing machines (e.g., RxNow).
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in a pharmacy setting and with medical terminology. Ability to operate a computer; ability to recognize and identify medications. Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, effective oral communication. Pharmacy Technician license (as required by state).
- Long Term Care pharmacy experience & National Pharmacy Technician License (desired).
