The Psychology Associate II will assist the Psychologist in providing clinical services, supervision, and case management for in/outpatient cases as specified by the Director of the inpatient service, outpatient clinic, or Department Head. This position will collaborate with department staff and supervisors, as well as other internal Institute departments as needed. The incumbent will participate in hiring, supervising, and evaluating assigned department staff as well as participate in programs of systematic research.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical services, to include developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining patient files through timely documentation.
- Provide clinical supervision and case management of in/outpatients.
- Provide supportive clinical services to families of in/outpatients.
- Participate in research projects involving the assessment and treatment of behavior disorders.
- Participate in hiring, supervising, and evaluating Behavioral Psychology staff for specific programs.
- Provide supervision and training for Behavioral Psychology staff.
- Participate in administrative, clinical, and training meetings as necessary.
- Must be approved as a Psychology Associate by the Maryland Board of Psychologists.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred.
- Master’s degree in psychology required.
- Degree in applied behavior analysis is highly desirable.
- Minimum five years of experience in a multi-disciplinary setting working with children with and without disabilities required.
- Minimum two years of experience providing behavior analysis assessment and treatments required.
- Must have experience in conducting research and communicating research findings via professional conferences, peer reviewed journals, seminars, etc.
USD $57,140.30 per year - USD $99,305.86 per year.
