Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Provide Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Support day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide in‑depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems; install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Configure and manage virtual environments.
  • Patch systems based on state‑of‑the‑art security and functional parameters.
Qualifications
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph.
  • At least fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required; alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Security+ Certification.
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.

  • Provide support to IT systems including day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

Nice to Have
  • Strong Red Hat Linux command line administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with using Nessus Scanner and managing Nessus Agents.
  • Ability to write POA&Ms.
  • Knowledge of maintaining a Secure the Enterprise (STE)/ Secure the Network (STN) score.
  • Familiarity with Latte Art, Biscotti, XACTA.
