What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Extract, transform, and load clinical, financial, and administrative healthcare data from Epic Caboodle and Clarity databases into the employer's data platform
• Collaborate with team members to develop and optimize SQL code and Python scripts for data transformation
• Assist in correcting and enhancing existing Epic transformation SQL code to meet end-user requirements
• Create documentation and establish best practices for Epic data reporting
• Learn and apply data quality concepts in support of electronic clinical quality measures

What is Required (Qualifications):

• 3+ years of experience querying and analyzing clinical and administrative data from Epic Clarity, Caboodle, and/or Chronicles data using SQL
• One or more Epic
  
  Certifications:
  
  Clinical Data Model, Access Data Model, Revenue Data Model, or other relevant certification
• Strong understanding of clinical and administrative EHR documentation workflows and their data representation in Epic databases
• Familiarity with Big Data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex data concepts effectively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Familiarity with clinical quality measures
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or R
