IT Support Specialist Security Clearance

Position: IT Support Specialist with Security Clearance
This role delivers advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 on-site and remote support for enterprise hardware and communication systems, leveraging AI-enabled diagnostics and predictive analysis to improve system uptime and performance. The Hardware Technician partners with cross-functional teams to assess, design, deploy, and optimize workstation, server, peripheral, and teleconferencing environments across mission-critical sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide Tier 2/3 support for workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing platforms using AI-assisted monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Conduct site surveys and assess current configurations to identify performance gaps, modernization opportunities, and automation potential
- Analyze user and system requirements to develop hardware acquisition specifications and deployment strategies
- Install, configure, and optimize computer systems, peripheral devices, teleconferencing equipment, and structured cabling
- Maintain, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic modems, multiplexers, fiber/Ethernet cabling, and telephony systems
- Develop hardware rollout schedules and produce detailed configuration diagrams and technical documentation
- Support network upgrade initiatives and infrastructure modernization efforts
- Train end users and site personnel on proper hardware operation and best practices
- Follow Connectivity Operations standards, using ticketing systems, asset tracking, and automated documentation platforms
- Build and test specialized interconnecting cables as needed Requirements:
