We are seeking a
Sr. Software Engineer (AI Systems & Infrastructure) to join our high-performing full-stack LLM integration and delivery team. In this role, you’ll help architect and build the platforms and infrastructure that power scalable AI-driven applications—delivering cutting-edge tools that bring real-time intelligence and automation into user workflows.

This position blends deep systems engineering expertise with hands-on software development and cloud-native operations. You’ll lead initiatives that drive high performance, resilience, and rapid iteration across a range of AI workloads and deployment environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and lead the development of AI systems infrastructure to support LLM-based applications at enterprise scale.
  • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and deployment pipelines for AI workloads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and frequent releases.
  • Implement observability frameworks (monitoring, alerting, logging) to support infrastructure reliability.
  • Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for AI systems and platforms.
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
  • Mentor team members and promote a culture of high-quality, scalable engineering.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to infrastructure, reliability, and development velocity.
Required Skills &

Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of software engineering experience, focused on backend systems, infrastructure, and scalability.
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
  • Skilled in observability and monitoring stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops best practices.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and optimizing complex distributed systems.
  • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Product-oriented mindset with a focus on user impact.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) or machine learning infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, model serving, and AI workload optimization.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks and feature flag systems.
  • Experience with real-time data platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka, Flink).
  • Background in microservices and distributed systems architecture.
  • Open-source contributions.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and risk management in distributed systems.
  • Exposure to chaos engineering and resilience testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree).
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

Compensation:

Salary at Intezra is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, and contract-specific requirements.
Estimated salary range: $170,000 – $260,000 (annualized USD).
