This role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting schemas across multiple database technologies to answer specific customer questions about infrastructure within the Columbia, MD team.

Responsibilities:

Design schemas and models in OLAP (Clickhouse), graph (Neo4j), and document (Elastic) databases.
Optimize queries and data structures for performance and scalability.

Required Skills:

Proven experience with OLAP, graph, and document databases.
Strong background in schema design, query optimization, and analytics support.
Ability to translate analytical questions into database design solutions.

Nice to Have:

Experience analyzing cyber security-related data sets (network traffic, OS events).
Familiarity with signals intelligence collection and analysis systems.
Knowledge of advanced security operations capabilities and operations.
General software engineering skills (devops, web applications, ETL, etc.).
Familiarity with Git and Git Lab.
Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).

Experience

Required:

12 years with Bachelor's degree in technical field, or 4 additional years without degree

Location: Columbia, MD

Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required
