Source Analyst; Mid

All Source Analyst (Mid) – role at BTS Software Solutions

Location:

Quantico, VA.

Conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. Provide all‑source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.

• Lead analysis projects to address national security challenges and inform decision making.
• Develop structured research and analytical products including reports, assessments, studies, and briefing materials.
• Apply intelligence collection capabilities and limitations, engage with collection managers, and develop collection requirements.
• Communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner both verbally and non‑verbally.
• Document and defend analytic judgments with sound, logical conclusions and adapt judgments when presented with new information.

  Experience:
  
  At least 8 years of experience conducting relevant analysis, with at least a portion within the last 2 years.

  Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
• Proficiency with structured analytic techniques such as Analysis of Competing Hypotheses, Devil’s Advocacy, High‑Impact/Low‑Impact Analysis, Red Team Analysis, and Alternative Futures Analysis.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical judgment, ability to work semi‑independently, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
