Systems Administrator – multiple levels – FULLY CLEARED with POLYGRAPH REQUIRED

Pay range: $100,000 – $200,000 per year (based on experience and skills).

Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph.
  • Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience within the last five years, or more for higher levels:
    • Level 04: 15+ years of direct/relevant experience.
    • Level 03: 12+ years of direct/relevant experience.
    • Level 02: 9+ years of direct/relevant experience.
    • Level 01: 6+ years of direct/relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required; alternatively, five years of additional systems administration experience on similar projects may substitute for the degree.
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, UNIX, RHEL, Kali, Solaris, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, Mandriva.
  • Ability to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide Tier‑I and Tier‑II help‑desk problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Support IT systems including day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
  • Escalate issues and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide in‑depth troubleshooting of IT systems and detailed analysis for escalated tickets.
  • Support the dispatch system and handle hardware problems, remaining involved in resolution.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems; install/load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components; implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
