Sr Manager, SAP Functional Delivery

Job Description

Grace is seeking an SAP Functional Sr Manager to join our Information Technology team! This role reports to Director, Enterprise Apps located in Columbia, MD.

The SAP Functional Sr Manager will lead delivery of SAP implementations and enhancements, working closely with cross-functional teams and offshore vendors. Your expertise in SAP configuration and deep knowledge of the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module and integration with other SAP modules and SAP solutions will be instrumental in delivering high-impact solutions.

• Lead the delivery of SAP projects across multiple projects ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture. The focus of this role will be implementation of processes in SAP in alignment with SAP best practices and enterprise architecture.
• Manage and mentor a team of SAP functional architects/consultants.
• Work with project manager on planning, execution, and delivery timelines for concurrent SAP initiatives and in some situations lead the planning and execution.
• Ensure high-quality configuration and implementation of SAP solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create detailed design and implement them into SAP solutions.
• Coordinate with the AMS Manager to ensure seamless integration between project delivery and support activities.
• Monitor proposed solution risks & conflicts and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide regular updates on project status and milestones.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in SAP solution delivery and configuration.
• Expertise in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module.
• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA and familiarity with other cloud-based SAP solutions such as IBP, Ariba, Success Factors, etc.
• Strong understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and lifecycle.
• Proven experience in delivering solutions using distributed teams including offshore teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Certifications in SAP or project management.
• Experience with additional SAP modules such as FICO, MM and HR.
• Knowledge of integration strategies and middleware tools.
• Background in enterprise application delivery within Chemical Manufacturing industry.
