Technical Expert - Network

Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.

• The Technical Expert/Functional Expert (Network) must possess the following skills and experience:

• Five years demonstrable experience (with degree, or 10 without) in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.

• Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.

• Must have skills needed to install, configure, and support the following:

  • Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Cisco works, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, Fiber Channel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)

• Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.

• Expert level support to include physical installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices (Cisco based).

• Experienced in system level design and architecture of enterprise security, datacenter virtualization, and CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure.

• Expert security enterprise boundary and datacenter architecture and design o Create system diagrams and present high level presentations to management. Experienced in packet capture software.

• Five years demonstrable experience (with degree, or 10 without)

$185,000 - $220,000

Compensation is commensurate with clearance level, specialized expertise, critical skill sets, experience, and qualifications. Additional pay stipends may be considered for eligible candidates, where applicable.

• 20+ days of earned paid time off (PTO) per year.
