CA operates a range of fitness and recreation facilities including three full‑service fitness clubs, five racquet sports clubs, twenty‑three outdoor pools, two golf courses, an ice rink, and a miniature golf course.
About the RoleThe Roller Skate & Events Supervisor is a revenue‑driven leadership role responsible for meeting and exceeding skate rental, private event, and party revenue goals. This position leads all roller skate and event operations while actively driving bookings, maximizing utilization, and growing event revenue through strong sales execution, team leadership, and exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Do- Lead and develop the roller skate team to consistently meet and exceed rental, party, and event revenue targets, managing performance against budget and forecasts.
- Own the end‑to‑end event sales process, including inquiries, bookings, contracts, payments, and follow‑up to maximize conversion and repeat business.
- Oversee daily Skate Arena operations, ensuring safety, quality, and fun.
- Monitor and report program performance, metrics, and KPIs.
- Serve as Shift Coordinator, Manager on Duty, and weekend emergency contact as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling, risk management, OSHA, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the arena, snack bar, and lounge areas.
- Oversee snack bar operations, equipment, inventory, and health department standards.
- Respond to member feedback and implement improvements based on data and input.
- Collaborate across departments and support club‑wide initiatives as needed.
- Experience in driving sales, event planning, management, or a health and fitness facility (roller skating experience is a plus!).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Comfort using Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word).
- A professional, positive, customer‑focused approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework a plus).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to obtain Serv Safe, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications within 60 days of hire.
The salary range for this position is $46K to $50 K. The actual salary offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the budgeted amount for the role.
